If you have a website, having a map is crucial to help home and apartment hunters make a decision. For home hunters, there is nothing like looking at a map, understanding where a property is and imagining life in the neighborhood.
For example, my wife and I are currently in our home search, and we use the map almost exclusively because we can see so much more context. Of course, the first things we filter are price, bedroom, bath, etc. We often start with a location that we are curious about living in, and then once we find some listings that match our needs, the real fun begins with the map:
- How far is it from a highway?
- Where is the nearest elementary school? And what is it rated?
- Is there shopping nearby? Banks, grocery, etc.
- How about playgrounds and open spaces?
Usually, those four answers will lead to, “let’s go see it!”
Consumers want to dig deep into the experience of their future, potential, house. That’s why we are happy to share our maps with you, for free, on your own site.
We realize that maps on many sites are not easy to use, or you may have pay to get them onto your site. So we wanted to make something that easily pulled your listings, by URL, onto a listings map that you could display on your site. With just a few clicks, you can copy and paste the HTML code into your site.
